Biography
Graeme Slater was appointed Chief Digital Information Officer at Sellafield Ltd in 2021.
Graeme has more than 20 years’ experience in information technology leadership, large scale transformation, and modernisation through digital enablement.
Throughout his career, he has worked at executive level across a range of industries, helping organisations use technology to shape and improve performance, manage change, and deliver complex programmes.
Before joining Sellafield Ltd, Graeme was Managing Director of Grays IT Limited, a specialist technology divestment and major transformation consultancy firm managing complex separations, designing, and embedding green field operating models.
At Sellafield Ltd, Graeme is focused on building reliable, secure, and modern digital services that enable the organisation to deliver its long-term decommissioning mission. He is passionate about developing digital capability, strengthening cyber resilience, and creating an environment where innovation and collaboration can thrive.
Chief Digital Information Officer
As Chief Information Officer, Graeme leads the organisation’s digital and information technology function.
He is responsible for ensuring that technology, data, and cyber security capabilities support Sellafield Ltd’s mission to reduce nuclear hazards safely, securely, and efficiently.
