Professor Gillian Morris

Biography

Professor Gillian Morris is Chair of the Review Body for Nursing and Other Health Professions, Deputy Chair of the Police Negotiating Board and Police Advisory Board for England and Wales, a Deputy Chairman of the Central Arbitration Committee, and a barrister at Matrix Chambers. She has acted as a Labour Law Expert for the International Labour Organisation and as an expert adviser to the European Commission. She was formerly Professor of Law, and is now Professor Associate, at Brunel University. She is author or co-author of several books, including Labour Law, Collective Labour Law, The State as Employer: Labour Law in the Public Services, and Strikes in Essential Services.
