Biography

Geraldine Wildman was appointed Interim Digital and Information Director at the Mining Remediation Authority in April 2026.

She joined the Mining Remediation Authority in 2022 as principal manager for data and information, where she led the development of the organisation’s first data and information plan. She has a background in geospatial technologies, particularly in applied environmental settings, with a record of delivering data-driven models and solutions that address complex challenges for government, industry and communities.

Prior to joining the Mining Remediation Authority, Geraldine held senior roles at the British Geological Survey and worked across the public and private sectors, helping to shape government strategies and initiatives in digital, information and geospatial innovation.

This role is responsible for:

  • digital - including service and assurance, technical delivery, web and design, architecture
  • information and artificial intelligence - including data management, data improvement, geospatial technologies and mining information consultants
