Francesca Stidston

Biography

Francesca Stidston became acting country representative for DFID Uganda in September 2018. She joined DFID in 2008 working in the Secretary of States’ private office. Since then she has worked on the delivery of the Millennium Development Goals through the UN. She has significant experience of working in fragile states (Afghanistan, Libya and Ukraine) and delivery of cross-Whitehall objectives.

Before starting in Uganda she attended the Royal College of Defence Studies where she gained a Masters in International Security and Strategy.
