Fiona Louise Lappin
Biography
Fiona Louise Lappin has been Head of DFID Vietnam since September 2008.
She joined DFID in 1988 and has held a number of different senior positions in the UK and overseas, most recently deputy head of DFID India. She started her career as an Overseas Development Institute (ODI) fellow in Botswana, and has had working experiences all over the world, including conflict countries such as Bosnia Herzegovina.
She has a master’s degree in development economics from the University of East Anglia.
