Evelyn Ashton-Griffiths

Biography
Evelyn Ashton-Griffiths took up the position of Ambassador and Permanent Representative to the UN Agencies in Rome in February 2024.
During her career, Evelyn has worked on issues including the Indo-Pacific, humanitarian crises, global health and migration. She has been posted overseas to New Delhi (India), Riyadh (Saudi Arabia) and also worked temporarily in Colombo (Sri Lanka). Evelyn also served as Private Secretary to the Secretary of State for International Development.
Evelyn holds an undergraduate degree in History and Italian and a Masters degree in Asian Security Studies.
