David Pasquini

Biography

David Pasquini was the UK Consul based in San Diego, California, from October 2016 to 2023. In this role, he was responsible for the UK’s political and economic relationship with San Diego County.

Prior to this position, he worked as a Vice-Consul for the UK’s Department for International Trade (DIT), developing and delivering the UK’s investment and trade promotion strategy for the USA in the aerospace, space, defence, marine, chemicals and food & drink sectors.

David holds a BA in International Affairs and a Minor in Immigration Studies from the University of California, San Diego (UCSD) and worked in the international aftermarket auto-parts industry prior to joining the Department for International Trade.

David is an active member of the Aero Club of Southern California and the Aerospace & Defence Forum San Diego Chapter. He sits on the board of The Maritime Alliance, and the SD Regional Chamber of Commerce’s Young Leaders association. He is fluent in Italian, Spanish, and Portuguese.
