David Fry
Biography
David was appointed as the Director of the Office of Manpower Economics (OME) in August 2020. Previously, he was the Head of Profession for Statistics at Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) where he led the Data Analytics and Business Statistics team. He has also supported policy development on troubled families, homelessness and local government finance at the Department for Communities and Local Government. Earlier in his career David helped implement the first National Minimum Wage and worked on public sector pay policy.

The Director for OME is responsible for ensuring the effective provision of professional support to the Public Sector Pay Review Bodies and the Police Boards in England and Wales.
