David Currie

Biography

David Currie was the Chairman of the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) until 19 June 2018. The CMA was established on 1 October 2013 and assumed its full functions and powers on 1 April 2014.

He is also:

• Member of the Board of the Dubai Financial Services Authority
• on the cross benches in the House of Lords as Lord Currie of Marylebone

Previous career highlights include:

• Founding Chairman of Ofcom (2002-2009)
• Dean at Cass Business School (2001-2007)
