David Barnes
Biography
David Barnes is Deputy Director for agriculture and rural development in the Scottish government, responsible for common agricultural policy and other agricultural issues.
He joined the Scottish government in September 2008.
His previous roles include:
- agriculture counsellor, United Kingdom Permanent Representation to the EU
- agriculture attaché, British Embassy in Paris
