Dave Beer
Biography
Dave Beer has over 17 years’ experience as a development and humanitarian practitioner in a range of policy and operational positions, mostly in Africa.
Before working as an advisor to the UK Executive Director to the World Bank, he led DFID’s economic development work in Ghana, and before that was the Head of Office in Burundi. He has also worked for DFID as well as humanitarian and development NGOs in the Sudan, Democratic Republic of Congo and Uganda. Other roles have included policy work on the Occupied Palestinian Territories, and on EU Accession in the Balkans.
