Dana Strong CBE
Biography
Dana Strong is Group Chief Executive of Sky, one of Europe’s leading media and entertainment companies and part of Comcast Corporation, a global media and technology group. Sky operates across multiple European markets and is a major investor in UK content, technology and skills.
Before joining Sky in 2021, Dana held senior roles in large-scale media and telecommunications businesses internationally, including Comcast, Virgin Media and Liberty Global.
Dana serves on the Board of Directors of The Estée Lauder Companies and SkyShowtime, a joint venture between Comcast Corporation and Paramount Global, and on the Wharton School’s EMEA Advisory Board. She was appointed Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) in 2025 for services to the media industry.
Industrial Strategy Advisory Council member
Members of the Industrial Strategy Advisory Council (ISAC) contribute to the development and long-term delivery of HM Government’s industrial strategy. They work with the ISAC chair and other ISAC members to produce independent, evidence-based recommendations that directly inform government policy.
