Crystal Akass and Ruth Bailey (job share)
Biography
Crystal Akass and Ruth Bailey joined the Cabinet Office as Human Resources (HR) Director in March 2015. They were appointed as a job share and both work 3 days a week.
Crystal and Ruth worked together in the UK Border Agency in the Home Office. From there Crystal went on to work at the Ministry of Justice and Department of Work and Pensions. Ruth went on to work at the Ministry of Defence. They both share a passion for public service and the role of HR in transforming organisational culture and performance.
