Colin Kennedy

Biography

Colin Kennedy is Chief Executive of The Mary Peters Trust, a leading Northern Ireland Sporting Charity. He started his career with the Halifax Building Society and rose to the level of Group Manager Northern Ireland before becoming Chief Financial Officer of one of Irelands largest Healthcare Companies. After selling this Company, he worked as a Consultant with various Organisations and Companies within the Private, Public and Voluntary Sectors including: Northern Ireland Voluntary Trust, The Community Foundation for Northern Ireland, The Millennium Awards Scheme, Belfast Women’s Training Services, The Ulster Sport and Recreation Trust and the General Dental Council. He is currently a member of the Nursing and Midwifery Council Fitness to Practice Panel, a member of the Mental Health Review Tribunal for Northern Ireland, a Commissioner on the Parades Commission for Northern Ireland and a member of the King George VI Youth Council in Northern Ireland. Colin has an MSc (Executive Leadership) from University of Ulster and is married with one son, living in County Down, Northern Ireland.
