Dame Colette Bowe PhD
Biography
Colette Bowe was a non-executive member of the Department for Transport Board from 1 September 2014 to 1 March 2017.
Colette is the chairman of the Banking Standards Board (BSB) and also currently chairman of the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM). She was until March 2014 the chairman of Ofcom, and of Electra Private Equity plc. She serves on the boards of the UK Statistics Authority and the Nuffield Foundation.
She has also served on the boards of Morgan Stanley International, Axa Investment Managers, Goldfish Bank, the Yorkshire Building Society, London and Continental Railways and Thames Water Utilities.
An economist by profession, she is also a Visiting Fellow of Nuffield College, Oxford.
