Claude Jaouen
Biography
Claude Jaouen, is an alumnus of the Ecole Centrale de Paris and a Doctor in engineering.
Having started his career in the nuclear fuel reprocessing including technological developments, engineering studies, construction and commissioning activities he became deputy site director of La Hague in 2000, in charge of operations and maintenance.
In 2003, he became Executive Vice President of AREVA NP, with responsibility for the Fuel Business Unit, and later the Reactors Business Unit.
He joined the AREVA Executive Committee in January 2010 as Senior Vice President of the Reactors and Services Business Group, taking over the full Business Group responsibility from July 2011 until end of July 2014.
He has since then managed a number of consulting projects in Europe, North America and Japan in the fields of strategy, business development, organisation, large projects execution and industrial support.
He was appointed as Non-Executive Director at Sellafield Ltd in April 2024.
