Biography
Claire Hughes was appointed Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State in the Wales Office on 16 September 2025.
She was additionally appointed Junior Lord of the Treasury (Government Whip) on 22 July 2026. She previously held the same role between 7 September 2025 and 16 September 2025.
She was also Assistant Whip, House of Commons between 16 September 2025 and 22 July 2026.
She was elected as the MP for Bangor Aberconwy in July 2024.
