Claire Graves
Biography
Claire Graves is the Director of Finance at the Disclosure and Barring Service.
Claire took on this post at DBS in July 2020.
Claire joined DBS in 2016 as the Senior Finance Business Partner, and has since worked as the Senior Manager for Financial Planning and Strategy, and the Financial Controller and Associate Director of Finance.
Prior to joining DBS, Claire has over a decade’s experience of working in finance, within the private sector.
Executive Director of Finance and Commercial Services
The Executive Director of Finance and Commercial Services leads the Finance and Commercial functions, providing strategic guidance to support the organisation’s vision and objectives.
As a key member of the Executive Team they are responsible for both operational financial management and the development and delivery of commercial strategy, ensuring robust financial control, risk management, and the identification and realisation of new business opportunities.
They also provide strategic and financial guidance to the Accounting Officer.
