Biography
Claire Burton was Chief Executive Officer of Standards and Testing Agency (STA).
Her previous roles include:
- Acting Director of Academies at the Department for Education (DfE)
- Head of Apprenticeships at the DfE and the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills
- Principal Private Secretary to the Secretary of State for Innovation, Universities and Skills
She holds a BA (Hons) in modern foreign languages.
