Biography
Dr Christine Thuranira-McKeever is a Commonwealth Scholarship Commissioner. Christine is an agricultural economist who is the Director of Distance Learning at the Royal Veterinary College (RVC). Christine’s work and academic interests are focused on international development and higher education.
Commonwealth Scholarship Commissioner
Commonwealth Scholarship Commissioners are responsible for:
- ensuring that the CSC fulfils the aims and objectives set by FCDO
- promoting the efficient and effective use of staff and other resources by the CSC
- ensuring that individuals are selected for Commonwealth Scholarships and Fellowships on merit and on the basis of clear criteria which reflect the objectives of FCDO and, where appropriate, other sponsoring departments
