Chris Mills

Biography

Chris has held a variety of roles in the IT sector before joining the Civil Service in 2012. At the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, in Parliament and at the Office for Security and Counter-Terrorism, he has worked on security, human rights and data-focused issues in policy, engagement and delivery roles.

Chris has a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.

Director of Rights Policy and Enforcement

This role is responsible for all areas of domestic IP rights policy and legislation including Patents, Trade Marks, Designs and Copyright to support UK innovation through IP.

It also leads on IP enforcement issues, playing a co-ordinating role for enforcement agencies to tackle IP crime in the UK and internationally.
