Charles Harper
Biography
Charles was the Head of DFID Jordan. He took up this role in July 2019. Before coming to Amman he was the interim Head of Finance and Control Department in Whitehall. His previous roles in DFID include: deputy Head of Private Sector Department and a range finance posts. Charles joined DFID in 2011.
Before DFID, Charles worked in the Ministry of Defence, he completed a number of postings in the Middle East and including secondments to the Foreign and Commonwealth Office and the UN Special Commission in Baghdad.
