Catriona Williams OBE

Biography

Catriona Williams OBE is currently the Chief Executive of Children in Wales and was a leading member of the campaign to establish the first Children’s Commissioner for Wales. She was also a founder member of Eurochild, the active membership organisation that was established to combat child poverty in Europe.

Catriona is on the board and executive committee of the Wales Council for Voluntary Action (WCVA) and also co-chairs Voices from Care Cymru with a young person. She is Chair of the Children and Families Court Advice and Support Service (CAFCASS) Cymru Stakeholder Advisory Committee.

Recent previous roles include:

• President of the International Forum for Child Welfare

• President of Eurochild

• Vice President and Management Board Member of the European Social Platform of NGOs (Non-Governmental Organisations)
