Commander Carl Necker
Biography
Commander Carl Necker RN took up the appointment of QHM Plymouth in early February 2011
His previous roles include:
- navigating the mine countermeasures vessel HMS Brocklesby and the Devonport based frigate HMS Cornwall
- 2 years in HMS Cumberland, deploying twice to the Gulf before qualifying as a Specialist Navigator in 2001
- navigating HMS Albion in her first commission
- Executive Officer of HMS Portland
