Bessie Woodhouse

Biography

  • Bessie’s father was infected with Hepatitis B and C, and was treated with Interferon.  She is a carrier of Haemophilia.
  • Bessie has an academic interest in the subject, with her undergraduate degree focusing on how societies of the past process death and post-graduate degree focusing specifically on public monuments and memorialisation. 
  • Bessie works for the Cabinet Office and is based in Glasgow. She brings an understanding of Government processes having worked as a policy advisor to the Queen Elizabeth Memorial Committee.
