Ben Luckock

Biography

Ben Luckock has been Deputy High Commissioner since August 2009. He has previously served in Pakistan (2003-4) and short duration assignments of several weeks in Kenya, Algeria, Sierra Leone, Zambia, Austria, Sri Lanka and Seychelles (as Deputy High Commissioner in 2007).

Ben has held a number of different roles at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office in London, including in Protocol, corporate services and on the Afghanistan Desk.

Ben graduated from the University of Birmingham in 2001, with one year of his degree course spent at the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA). He is currently studying with the Open University Business School.

Ben is accompanied by his wife Rachel and three sons Daniel, Nathan and Joseph.
