Becky Thomas became Director of Strategy, Policy, Digital and Technology for the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) in October 2019. She had previously been Director of Strategy and Policy.
Before that, Becky held positions at DVSA and its predecessors, including:
- Head of Strategy, Planning and Performance
- Head of Learning and Development
- Head of HR Performance

The director is responsible for:
- DVSA’s strategy, strategic planning, forecasting and modelling
- policy and legislation for DVSA’s services
- digital services, technology and security solutions
- data and information management
- organisational performance evaluation and analysis
