Annie Hudson
Biography
Annie Hudson was appointed as Chair of the Child Safeguarding Practice Review Panel in December 2020.
A social worker by profession, Annie has held a range of practice, leadership and academic posts including:
- Strategic Director, Children’s Services for Lambeth London Borough Council
- Director of Children’s Services for Bristol City Council
She is currently a trustee at Oxfam GB and a former trustee at The Social Care Institute for Excellence.
Chair - Child Safeguarding Practice Review Panel
Responsibilities:
- leading and managing the panel
- ensuring the reviews under their supervision identify any improvements that should be made by safeguarding partners or others to safeguard and promote the welfare of children
