Anna Walters

Biography

Anna Walters is UK’s Deputy Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, responsible for promoting relations between the UK and Saudi Arabia and supporting British interests in the Kingdom.

Anna has worked internationally for over 20 years, including for the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO), the former Department for International Development and the UN.

She has broad policy expertise, covering areas such as national security, governance reform, and public financial management. She has worked in a number of regions around the world including the Near East, North Africa, Sub Saharan Africa and South Asia and although this is her first posting to Saudi Arabia, Anna spent most of her primary school years in Jeddah as a child so has a long standing connection to the country.
