Anna Sanders is a Deputy Director in the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, responsible for policy on Pillar 1 of the Common Agricultural Policy and the related preparation for Day 1 of Exiting the EU. Anna is also responsible for the Programme Management and Governance for the Future Farming (and Countryside) Programme. Anna has spent most of her Civil Service career between Defra and the Cabinet Office with previous posts including Private Secretary for Defra Ministers, Senior Policy Advisor on Food Policy, Civil Service Reform, and management the Civil Service Talent Strategy and accelerated development schemes.

The UK Co-ordinating Body Management Board includes a representative of each of the 4 departments that own UKCB:
- the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs
- the Welsh Government
- the Scottish Government
- the Northern Ireland Executive
The chairmanship of the Board rotates between the 4 representatives.
