Andrew Terrell

Biography

Andrew S. Terrell was the British Consul for Business & Government Affairs and Head of the UK Government Office (UKGO) in Raleigh from 2017 until January 2020. The UK Government Office in Raleigh maintains and develops business, cultural, political, and scientific relationships with the State of North Carolina and its communities.

Andrew Terrell is an internationally experienced economist and entrepreneur. He spent 10 years working on economic, foreign affairs, national security, technology, and other major public policy issues. In addition to founding two companies, he has worked with over 120 organisations across the globe in both the public and private sector. These have included multiple offices at the White House, US Department of Defense, and a number of Fortune 500 Companies. His recent economic research includes data behind the 2017 book: Capitalists Arise! End Economic Inequality, Grow the Middle Class, Heal the Nation, written with Chairman Emeritus Peter Georgescu of Young & Rubicam.

Andrew is originally from Western North Carolina and has lived and studied throughout Asia and Europe. He is a graduate of Warwick University in the United Kingdom, where studied Economics, Law, and International Political Economy.
