Amy Smith
Biography
Amy Smith has been Deputy High Commissioner in Malta since August 2015.
Prior to this Amy was based in London where she was Private Secretary to the Minister for Europe, from 2013-2015. Her first posting was to Pyongyang, DPRK, as Vice Consul, Management and Programmes Officer. She then joined the British Trade and Cultural Office, Taipei, as Head of Political and Economic Section. She has held a number of positions in London focused on UN and conflict issues.
She joined the Foreign Office in 2006 following an initial career in the private sector.
