Amy Casterton

Biography

Amy Casterton joined Homes England in October 2017 as Chief of Staff from the Department of Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS).

Amy has extensive experience of supporting leadership teams and corporate governance reform, including running private offices at DCMS, and most recently she led a Tailored Review of UK Anti-Doping.

Amy spent six years in Brazil, joining the Foreign and Commonwealth Office to deliver the handover cooperation between London 2012 and Rio 2016. As Head of Projects at the Consulate she introduced bilateral and trade cooperation initiatives and was SRO of strategic campaigns, including on the launch of the GREAT campaign. In 2014 Amy opened ES Global’s operations in Brazil, going on to win contracts on Rio 2016 on engineering consultancy, overlay and containment and managing operations locally. She also had her own agency providing support to companies and NGOs with projects linked to Rio 2016.

Prior to that, Amy was appointed as the first Head of Public Policy at the Premier League, where she led work on intellectual property rights protection and developed major social policy programmes in the UK and overseas.
