Ameer Kotecha

Biography

Ameer Kotecha started in the role of His Majesty’s Consul General in Ekaterinburg in June 2023. 

Ameer began his career in the private sector before he joined the Foreign & Commonwealth Office (FCO) in 2015. As a diplomat, he has worked in roles in London and abroad, including in Hong Kong and New York. He has a degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from the University of Oxford.

Ameer is the author of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II’s official Platinum Jubilee Cookbook.
