Amanda Solloway
Biography
Amanda Solloway was Government Whip (Lord Commissioner of HM Treasury) from 20 September 2022 to 5 July 2024. She was also Parliamentary Under Secretary of State (Minister for Energy Consumers and Affordability) at the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero from 7 February 2023 to 5 July 2024.
She was previously Parliamentary Under Secretary of State at the Home Office, and a Parliamentary Under Secretary of State (Minister for Equalities) at the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office from 8 July 2022 to 20 September 2022.
She was previously Parliamentary Under Secretary of State at the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy from 14 February 2020 to 8 July 2022.
