Alison Crocket

Biography

Alison is a career diplomat, she was Deputy Governor to Bermuda from 2018 to 2022. Previously, she was in London as head of the Foreign & Commonwealth Office’s (FCO’s) Anti-Corruption Team.

Before that, she spent 8 years (4 years with the Department for International Development and 4 years with the United Nations AIDS programme) as a senior adviser in preventing HIV among most vulnerable populations.

Prior to that, she was the representative of the UK to the UN Office of Drugs and Crime, representing UK interests at the UN Convention Against Corruption, the Commission of Narcotic Drugs and the Commission of Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice.

Before joining the FCO, Alison was a social worker, including for children’s charity Barnado’s. She has a lifelong passion for social justice and for reaching out to those in our communities who find it most difficult to be heard.
