Alisdair Walker

Biography

Alisdair Walker was the British Ambassador to Eritrea from February 2019 to November 2022.

Before that, Alisdair was the Head of China Internal Team in East Asia Department at the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO). His previous postings include Seoul (2011 to 2015), Abuja (2004 to 2007), Moscow (1995 to 1999), Islamabad (1991 to 1994) and various positions within the Foreign & Commonwealth Office (FCO) in London.
