Alice Truman
Biography
Alice was the Deputy Head of Mission at the British Embassy in Israel from May 2022 to January 2023.
She joined the Diplomatic Service in 2009 following an undergraduate and Masters at the University of Nottingham. In London she has worked in the Middle East and North Africa Directorate, with a focus on Israel, and Asia Pacific Directorate, with a focus on Myanmar.
She has served overseas as Private Secretary to the Ambassador at the British Embassy in Kabul and as Second Secretary at the British High Commission in Freetown. She joined the British Embassy Tel Aviv as Head of Political in May 2019 and moved up to the role of Deputy Head of Mission in May 2022.
