Alex de Keyser
Biography
Alex is interim General Counsel and Company Secretary for Nuclear Waste Services, leading the Legal and Governance Directorate. Prior to that, she built and led the legal team at Radioactive Waste Management and later Nuclear Waste Services, advising on a broad range of legal subject areas in the context of a public sector nuclear business with an operational site and development programme.
Alex is an infrastructure development lawyer, who qualified and practised at Clifford Chance, before moving in-house to advise on a nuclear energy development project. She also spent a year on secondment to the Department of Energy and Climate Change, working on the implementation of the Stone Recommendations on nuclear regulation and the creation of what is now the Office for Nuclear Regulation.
