Alan Aubrey
Biography
Alan was a member of the Departmental Board from April 2012 to August 2014. He worked with the Department from 2008 as a member and then Chair of the Audit and Risk Committee. He was also a member of the Performance, Finance and Risk Committee.
Alan was the joint founder and Chief Executive of Techtran Group Ltd, which was acquired by IP Group plc in 2005. Alan is Chief Executive Officer of IP Group, a FTSE 250 company that specialises in investing in spin-outs from leading universities.
He is also Non-Executive Chairman of Proactis, an AIM-listed software company, Non-Executive Chairman of Ceres Power, an AIM-listed fuel cell company and a Non-Executive Director of Avacta Group, a company that supplies diagnostic instruments and regalements to the Biopharmaceutical Industry.
