Biography

Aimee is Government Chief Data Officer leading the Government Digital Service (GDS) data strategy to improve data maturity throughout its lifecycle. She works closely with Chief Data Officers across government to drive innovation and champion better access to data, supporting more informed decision-making and improved public services.

Aimee is a data specialist and before joining GDS, was at the Metropolitan Police Service, where she served as Director of Data and co-chaired the National Police Data and Analytics Board.

Government Chief Data Officer

The Government Chief Data Officer is responsible for fostering a sustainable, data-centric culture across government and the wider public sector.

They also lead the development and implementation of the government-wide data strategy, promote common data standards, and enhance data sharing across departments and the Government Data and Digital (GDaD) community.
