Aimee Farquhar
Biography
Aimee Farquhar joined GAD as Director of Finance and Operations in October 2026 and is a member of GAD’s Executive Committee.
Before joining GAD, she held senior leadership positions across the public sector, with responsibility for finance, operations, transformation and organisational improvement. Most recently, she was Head of Finance for HMRC’s Borders and Trade Group. Her earlier Civil Service roles included leading finance transformation at the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government, and governance and assurance at HM Prison and Probation Service.
Aimee is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and has Board-level experience as a non-executive director and vice-chair in the housing sector.

The Director of Finance and Operations leads finance, operations and corporate services, ensuring GAD has the resources, systems and governance needed to deliver its objectives.
