Adam Singer

Biography

Adam is currently the Chairman of Digital Radio UK, and sits on the board of Bletchley Park and The Sixteen (one of the UK’s leading choral groups).

Adam has worked in broadcasting and telecoms in the UK, US, France and Japan, during which he launched the Discovery Channel in Europe, helped to create UKTV with the BBC and launched the first continuous TV coverage of Parliament. He is the former Chairman and CEO of Flextech PLC and, when it was sold to Telewest, became CEO of Telewest PLC.

Later he became CEO of the Performing Rights Society, delivering over £500 million per annum to the UK music sector, and was also Chief Operating Officer of the Denver-based Tele-Communications Inc. (now Liberty), launching TV and cable systems around the world.
