Adam Marshall

Biography

Adam Marshall was appointed non-executive director of the Trade Remedies Authority in June 2021. He currently works across a portfolio of business roles, including senior advisor positions with HSBC UK and the Chartered Management Institute. He is a Specialist Partner at management consultancy Flint Global, and is a non-executive director and Trustee of the Industry and Parliament Trust. Adam also holds advisory board roles at Glasswall, a fast-growing UK cybersecurity firm, and at Estates and Agency Group, a London-based commercial property company.

From 2009-2021 Adam worked at the British Chambers of Commerce, where he was Executive Director for Policy and External Affairs (2009-2016) and then Director General (2016-2021). At the BCC, Adam advocated for UK business through the Brexit process and the Covid-19 pandemic. He has also worked in urban regeneration, university-industry partnerships, and the broadcast media.

Adam was appointed Commander of the British Empire for services to business in the Queen’s Birthday Honours 2021.
