About us
We’re a group commissioned by the Prime Minister to provide advice on how best to create a permanent and fitting tribute to the Windrush generation and their descendants.
Who we are
The permanent members of the committee are all influential voices within the UK’s Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) communities and many of us have a direct personal connection to the Windrush generation.
The committee is supported by a secretariat from the Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities.
