LocatED was an arm’s length body to the Department for Education and existed to provide property advice to the department and educational bodies.
LocatED helped solve complex property challenges including:
- securing and disposing of sites
- managing sites held by the Secretary of State for schools
- advancing estates efficiency and decarbonisation programmes
- providing a commercial property consultancy service to the department’s policy areas
- delivering school-led, mixed-use developments
