LBRO focused on the interaction between business and regulators, ensuring that it delivered prosperity and protection for all. One aim was to change the nature of regulation, enabling regulators to apply their professional judgment in the most effective and efficient way. LBRO was dissolved in 2012 with responsibilities passing to the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills and Welsh Ministers.
