This accessibility statement applies to documents published by the Government Data Quality Hub for England and Wales.


Using our documents

The Government Data Quality Hub publishes documents in a HTML format.

How accessible our documents are

All the documents we publish should be fully accessible.

What to do if you can’t use one of our documents

If you need a document we’ve published in a different format, please email DQHub@ons.gov.uk, specifying:

  • the document title
  • the web address (URL) for the document
  • the format you need, for example, audio CD, braille, British Sign Language (BSL) or large print, accessible PDF

We’ll consider the request and get back to you within five working days.

Reporting accessibility problems with one of our documents

We’re always looking to improve the accessibility of our documents. If you find any problems or you think we’re not meeting accessibility requirements, please email DQHub@ons.gov.uk.

Enforcement procedure

In England, Wales and Scotland, the Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) is responsible for enforcing the Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) (No. 2) Accessibility Regulations 2018 (the ‘accessibility regulations’). If you’re not happy with how we respond to your complaint, contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS).

In Northern Ireland, the Equality Commission for Northern Ireland is responsible for enforcing the Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) (No. 2) Accessibility Regulations 2018 (the ‘accessibility regulations’). If you’re not happy with how we respond to your complaint, contact the Equality Commission for Northern Ireland.

Technical information about the accessibility of our documents

The Government Data Quality Hub is committed to making our documents accessible, in accordance with the Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) (No. 2) Accessibility Regulations 2018.

What we’re doing to improve accessibility

We are improving accessibility by carrying out accessibility checks on all our new documents.

We are implementing processes and requirements to ensure that all Government Data Quality Hub publications meet the accessibility requirements in Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.1 AA.
