21 Guinean young women recently attended a Women’s Leadership Conference held at the “Osez Innover” Centre for Excellence in Social Entrepreneurship and Human Development in Kondeyah, near Kindia, delivered by members of the Peace Corps Guinea and funded by the British Embassy.

The participants learned about how to become leaders in their communities and how to find and maintain employment. During 3 days, the participants met Ambassador Graham Styles, Guinean women entrepreneurs and community leaders; discussed female leadership in Guinea and how to solve issues of concern to women in Guinea; and studied and practiced job search skills such as CV writing, networking and job interviews.
