Widening starts on northbound M6 at Broughton Interchange
Work to widen the northbound carriageway of the M6 around junction 32 at the interchange with the M55 began yesterday (Monday 12 May).
In the first phase of traffic management for the work, there are daytime hard shoulder closures and overnight lane closures on the M6 and M55 around the interchange.
The traffic management for the scheme will change from Friday 29 May in a second phase of the project when overnight slip road and carriageway closures will be needed. More details of this work will be released nearer the time.
